It is sometimes difficult to get by between the different kinds of lamps to harden your permanent varnish, gel or acrylgel. Today, the nail supply expert Maryton will give you 4 criteria to help you choose the right manicure lamp that suits you best!
Criterion 1: The type of lamp
There are 3 types of lamps, to choose from depending on your needs and use:
The UV lamp
The UV lamp uses ultraviolet where you can only catalyze products that harden under UV and not LED.
The LED lamp
The LED lamp uses electroluminescent waves whose wavelength produced is less important than that of UV. The LED lamp allows you to polymerize only gels that harden under LED and not UV.
The 2in1 UV and LED lamp
This is a mixed lamp compatible for both UV and LED gels. This type of manicure lamp is more expensive to buy but more profitable in the long run.
Criterion 2: Design
A nail lamp should be compact and lightweight so that you can easily place it on your work table. Currently, lamps are more and more ergonomic, very efficient and take up less and less space.
Criterion 3: The timer and the detector
To ensure excellent control of the drying time of gels or permanent varnishes, we advise you to opt for a lamp that offers different timer modes and an automatic sensor.
Criterion 4: Polymerization time
The drying time will depend on the power of the lamp chosen! Your device must be efficient and offer fast drying times.
Hoping that this article has pleased you and will give you ideas! In addition, I also advise you to invest in a complete professional manicure kit to care for your nails!
